As the world is becoming even more interconnected and digitized, chatbots – conversational robots programmed and designed to automatically and instantly answer users’ questions –  are becoming more and more popular with both companies and companies and their customers. Chatbots are very versatile and have a wide range of use cases, ranging from automated knowledge bases to scheduling booking appointments. They can be effectively utilized across most industries.

As a project for a telecommunications platform providing communication services for small businesses, Datarabbit developed an intelligent assistants system, that the platform clients can plug into their communication channels (mobile, web) with their subscribers/audiences.

Implemented solution, enables the platform clients to significantly improve their user communication/engagement and gain a competitive advantage due to chatbots’ capabilities to:

  • Provide audience service with real-time responses to audience requests and with 24/7 availability.
  • High scalability (ability to respond to thousands of requests simultaneously).
  • Time and cost savings for businesses using the platform (most common questions (tailored to specific business cases) handled by automata).
  • Better overall audience engagement due to faster responses and chatbot conversational capabilities – extended by a dedicated “small talk” module.

In the future, the intelligent assistant system is planned to be extended by automatic appointment booking (integrated with businesses’ services availability calendars).
